Midfielder David Hurley will be a full member of the Cobh Ramblers senior squad in 2018 as the former Ringmahon Rangers man has signed for Stephen Henderson’s squad ahead of the new season.

Hurley first joined Cobh’s u19 set-up in 2016 from Ringmahon but it was in 2017 that he became truly noticed. He featured heavily in the heart of midfield for Dec Coleman’s side that finished top of the Southern Division and reached the final four of the Enda McGuill Cup.

The UCC student has a habit for scoring outstanding goals from distance and videos of his goals drew many plaudits on social media. The nineteen year old first made the step up to senior level at the tail-end of last season, making four appearances and scoring the club’s Goal of the Season in the final day win over Waterford. He brings to twelve the number of players signed up ahead of the 2018 campaign.
